MESSAGE FROM CLIFF

It would be an honor to serve the people of Eastern Oregon. I will work hard on the challenges that face us, which include bringing more jobs to Eastern Oregon, supporting efforts to protect water rights, improving our schools and guarding against more government regulations.

I can't think of a better way to give back to the region that has been so important to my wife and me, and now is giving so much to our kids. with the help of the people of Eastern Oregon, I believe we have a prosperous and bright future.

  • Mediated numerous family ranch/farm business reorganizations, resulting in continued operation rather than sale.
  • Negotiated complex water allocation/use agreements between water users and the State.
  • Joined in approving initiative to establish a School Uniform Policy for 8C Middle School.
  • Successfully negotiated for ranchers against State and Federal agencies.
  • Helped lead efforts to stablilize and move forward a non-profit agency dedicated to ending domestic violence.
  • Structured cattle, onion, and potato marketing & production organizations.
  • Represented irrigators in Klamath Basin adjudication.
