(Salem, OR) Today, the Oregon Cattlemen’s Association Board of Directors voted to endorse Cliff Bentz for Congress (Republican – CD2) currently being held by retiring Congressman Greg Walden.

“The Oregon Cattlemen’s Association board voted unanimously to declare “EXTRAORDINARY CIRCUMSTANCES” and break with policy in endorsing Cliff Bentz for CD2. The Bentz family are long time ranchers and OCA members from Eastern Oregon. OCA views this as a rare opportunity to send one of our own to Washington DC.” Said Jerome Rosa, Executive Direction Oregon Cattle Association.

“I’m proud to have the support of the Oregon Cattlemen’s Association and I will work hard to champion farm and ranch issues as Congressman.  Oregon’s ranch are farm industry is the backbone not only of our economy, but for our way of life. Generations of families have contributed so much to our state.  I will do my part to ensure government stays out of the way and promote economic prosperity.’ Said Cliff Bentz.
